Larry we have some ethanol free stations. I use that in all my yard tools. It makes a big difference. Nell

I was told there was possibly one station now in town that has ethanol free gas, the last time I checked there were none, So I have to see if I can find it. I wish it were the other way around, only one station with ethanol in the gas!

I guess this is the price we pay for trying to be free of foreign oil. I didn't know about the probs with ethanol and mowers; this might explain the weird surging in our push mower.

You know with fracking and all the oil available now looks like we could do away with ethanol completely forever.Could possibly be just a dirty air filter, I'd check that first, not normally that easy but possible.

I hate the ethonal too! We have had all kinds of issues with lawn and garden equipment because of it. I guess there is something you can add to the tank to keep it from gunking everything up but I don't remember what it is.

From the reviews stabilizers don't work all that well, but Sea Foam appears to be the preferred one.

I haven't tried Sea Foam. Fortunately I found a gas station that sells ethanol free gas.
