Hampton Court Palace Flower Show (Part 3)

By NEILMUIR1
July 26, 2011

As the sun came out, my day at Hampton Court beside the River Thames was getting better, apart from the odd shower. Now I could at last get out and wander on this hallowed ground. Join me as I finish in the floral marquee and go for another trek.

Good Grief, Neil, things are getting better and better.

Loved the Bonsai. Actually, I loved everything, including the little duckies. Hope adorable.

You sure can make that camera talk. Smiling

Thanks.

Many Hugs,

Nancy

Dear Nancy, well at least you now know I went to Hampton Court Palace. Not a castle! Rolling on the floor laughing
I am glad you enjoyed it and I hope you saw the lovely outdoor room that had Arrow slits in just like a castle does.
A lot of people liked the bonsai, not to sure about the graveyard one? There were as you can see a lot of people there and a lot of plants and other things. I have a thing on my belt and it tells you how far you walked that day. from home and back it showed 31.2 miles, which is OK but with my camera gear as well was pushing it a bit!
Now can I tell Richard from the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, that it is now safe to let you in there, and you will not get him or yourself in trouble by calling Kew Palace a "castle and I want it." Rolling on the floor laughing
Loads of Love!

Dear Vicki, glad you had some fun looking around Hampton Court? But this is not the end for there is a final look at the big Show Gardens in Part 4! I hope you do not miss that?
After the show I had to get back to central London and then cross it again to get south east and back to my house. The looks I got from all the men in their suits and ladies in their office dresses, was quite amusing to say the least.
For I was covered in Surrey mud that had got everywhere! I am not sure if they thought I had been out trekking, or was a farmer on the wrong train! Rolling on the floor laughing
Group hug
Regards.
Neil.

Dear Cherie, I am glad you found your way here! I hope everything is getting a bit more settled for you?
Promise to see me in part 4, are they putting an internet connection in the bar for you? Rolling on the floor laughing Make sure you do not spill your Bloody Mary over the keyboard, expensive to fix that is.
Have you found any full whisky barrels yet? Rolling on the floor laughing
Hope Ed is well and the family.
