Thanks Jeanie, I tried to edit and I guess I am dense but couldn't figure out how to change title

The monarch was very cool, it actually emerged that evening at my mil's house. She is 91 and doesn't get out and she had never seen a butterfly emerge, She was so excited

@Mutisia, they have sweet little yellow flowers but I grow it for the seed pods they eventually turned a rusty color. Just beautiful

Amazing! We are much closer to their country of origin (Brazil), but I don't think I ever saw them growing here.

Jolana, could I ask you to post a picture of the seed pods when they change colour?

@Mutisia, if I get another, I will gladly post a picture but it is hard now to keep blooms after all the rain now we have horrible heat and grasshoppers/locusts moved in. Just enough to eat the flowers and shred all my cannas
