That picture of Around We Go is very nice, but it shows the colors to be much more brilliant then they are. Here's a picture of it that is pretty accurate for color.
Glad you posted that, Tom. It irritates me when vendors enhance colors in order to make the sale. Ends up a disappointed customer every time. Not such a good idea, I don't think................

I bought "Around We Go" based on the red picture. I wish I looked at the database pictures so I will not be surprised when I does bloom. It's still a nice Iris.

I think it is a beautiful iris too, Barbara. Every time I have seen it I have thought it lovely. I love the band on the fall and the color, although not the red depicted in some photos, is a lovely color unto itself. Post photos for us when it blooms.

There is no true red as the iris lacks the genetics for a true red. There are wonderful warm reds and plum reds and we all have our favorite. A new one I am looking forward to blooming next year, I hope, is Red Velvet Cake. It is a warm red.

the reds I like that I picture wise is Cajun spices, class ring, every which way, samurai warrior, Saturday night live (samurai warrior and Saturday night live look similar to me though), and war chief.
Grateful Red is a pretty nice red, as is Red Dirt Road, and like Bonnie, I can't wait to see my Red Velvet Cake bloom. Lest We Forget - in honor of today BTW - is also a nice red.
