I too love the middle one. Looks to be an older one. Sorry I can't help ID any of them but stick around and someone may have some suggestions for you. Welcome!

irisarian said:Good to know they will be seen. the miniature talls should have a flower 3" X 3". Some of the historics were on their way. A real classic one is Kaleidoscope where each flower is different.

I just checked that one in the database. Very interesting! I didn't realize that miniatures also had broken colors.

That's a sweet one Evelyn, I have plenty if you'd like to try growing it.

wdanielw said:I lost these irises over 4 years ago due to overspraying by a lawn maintenance guy. I never knew the names but they were particular favorites. I am pretty sure they were MTBs. Any assistance identifying them and locating replacements would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome! @wdanielw

Those are pretties. I hope that you will be able to replace them. Crossing Fingers! There are several members here that specialize in littles. (Unfortunately, I am not one of them!)

Good luck and stick around for a while. You will get to see a lot of color on this forum. The members here are friendly and helpful.

I only have two MTB's. The first is a very prolific, older cultivar.

New to me, planted late last summer

crowrita1 said:This MTB was my favorite, this year. It seemed to be a bit of a slow starter, as it was planted in '13, didn't bloom in '14...just made increases, but, as you can see...it really put on a show this year !

Elfin Shadows (L. Burton 2002/04 )

@crowrita1
Interestingly, my older cultivar, Carolyn Rose is the pollen parent to Elfin Shadows.
