Hi Sue, I'll have to look, I believe I've still got all of these. If you could, please tree-mail me your address and I'll go through my box and get them out as soon as I can.

Note - anyone reading this that I owe seeds to - I will get them out as soon as I can in between my VA appointments.

If you still have Datura (Double Purple Angel Trumpet) seeds - I would be interested in some.

Thanks Laurie, I just don't want those who have asked for seeds and cuttings to think I'm ignoring them. I'm just having a lot of issues right now and I'm trying to work through them to be able to get everyone's packages out to them.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, I'll see if I can explain what's going on and hopefully won't get chastised for being off-topic.

Back in Dec of 2013 I believe I had a stroke, one day I was fine, I woke up the next morning unable to keep my balance. This has gotten progressively worse over the past 2 1/2+yrs to where even if I'm just standing in one place I'll just suddenly start to fall.

I've had a constant headache since Feb of this year. No drug of any kind will help it. At times it just 'lurks' in the background but more often now it's in the forefront and hurts like heck.

In the past month or so I've started getting dizzy spells for instance just standing or sitting my head will begin to swirl only lasting a few seconds luckily.

Over the past couple of months my legs have begun to shake uncontrollably whenever my toes are bent downwards and I have to let it run it's course. When I saw my VA Neurologist back on the 8th he said it appears to be something called Clonus - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/... and I also have what is called Hyperreflexia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/... You know when the Dr. taps your knee with the little hammer and your legs go outwards a bit? Well with me my legs go way out in fact they go above the horizontal a bit.

All of these issues need an MRI to confirm/deny their existence however I have two implants in my back for pain which prevent this. Luckily once they're removed I can get the MRI so towards the end of next month I'm going back to see the Neurosurgeon who put them in to get them removed.

So my friends, in a nutshell that's what's going on with me.

Group hug Chris. We hope they figure this all out. Have they checked to see if any of your meds could be causing problems. I say this because I saw it frequently with my mom and dad. When the offending drug was changed or removed, their problem went away.

Thanks Karen, I've thought about that but the only two drugs I take are one for my back pain (doesn't work anyway) and I take about 3200mg of Ibuprofen a day for this headache. What really scares me are the possible causes of the Clonus and the Hyperreflexia but I'll just have to wait until I can get an MRI to figure it out. I should probably find a civilian neurologist for a 2nd opinion but I'm sure I'd get the same answers, can't find anything with CT scans need an MRI.

Danial, thank you so very much, I appreciate it.

Okay, it's probably not your drugs. Yes, don't completely trust the military. Get that second or even third opinion. My SIL is retired military in your area, and he's had to go outside the system a few times to get good care. Fortunately his wife is a nurse, so she is quite the advocate for him.Wishing you the best of luck and I'm sure you'll have many prayers from this great group.

I agree with Karen.... and will keep you my prayers Chris...

Please do keep us updated...

You's don't happen to have Lyme Disease there do you?

I know this may not be the same, but anything that can help is good, right....
I used to have lots of pain and headaches, Dr. at Hopkins told me to
take 2000 mg of Good Krill Oil per day... has worked wonders for me...

Does he by any chance go to the Temple, Tx VA? I've found at least this one, unlike others I've heard about, it's easy to get appointments. I guess it's because there are just so many vets in this area that they're overwhelmed with patients. He's lucky that his wife's a nurse. I'll just have to persist with finding answers and hopefully once these implants are removed the MRI will show something.

Hi Donna, thank you, I appreciate them. I'm sure there's Lyme disease around however the only brush I get near is when I walk from the house to the greenhouses and I haven't felt like cutting the grass in awhile. Hmm, thanks for the information on the Krill Oil, I'll have to check into that. I'm to the point now where I'll try just about anything except bloodletting or leeches.

I'm not sure, but I emailed them to ask where he goes.
Yes, keep on asking questions and reading up on everything you can. It really helps. Hopefully you can get those implants removed and get an MRI soon.

I just got an answer. He goes to the clinic in Cedar Park, but he says Temple is the best place for you. They have all the specialists. My nurse daughter said it sounds like you need a brain CT as soon as possible.

Chris, have you tried bc powders for your headache? I know this sounds crazy but I suffer from migraines. I live with a headache every day. In order to keep them from topping out, I take the bc's. Most times it will head it off if I take it first thing in the morning. Then the rest of my day is bearable.
