Try 'em again. Cut back on the Season All, and only add 1 heaping tablespoon. And, substitute smoked turkey necks for the ham hocks. That should work for you...LMK.
During the time of the cold and the dark I spend FOREVERSO designing beds and planning my orders and starting seeds to make an very organized garden and then in the spring..... the wheels come off and the garden becomes fraught with willynilly but methinks willynilly is very prettiful so I am on Team Whimsy
Definitely not traditional but probably more eclectic than whimsical. I have a wide variety of plants and just stick them where I think they will grow without thought to color, shape, etc. I can't say I have alot of whimsical things other than a couple of little signs and a few concrete pieces.
