Lol!
As in, hackberry tree?
Celtis occidentalis?
I can certainly help with that!
I'm rather surprised you can't find them locally...
I also have some sugar berry around here, a very close relative of hackberry.
I'm not sure what other plants I could provide for you, can you be more specific?
Do you only want natives? Trees?
What do you hope to harbor with the plants you seek?
I honestly didn't know that hackberry was of much significance to wildlife... Time to get to googling!
I'd be very happy to help, but the more I know, the more I can help!

You can tree me if you like, but a public conversation might benefit your cause more.
Please tree mail me for trades, I'm ALWAYS actively looking for more new plants, and love to trade!

Lot of construction , and cleaning took out a lot of free tree seed collecting around here , I could try the railroad tracks but with destruction happening to rail and such systems that is not the best of ideas around here either ,
Anyway when you asked about the Hackberry tree , that is what I thought .
False or wood nettles , various pellitory plants or seeds , Host plants , for various , Several Birds like these trees also ,

Sounds like you just need to pack up and ride down here!
I bet you could give me a pretty good lesson on plants and the critters that they host!

I have a few seedlings ranging from 5-10 inches tall. I have both flying dragon and regular PT starts. Treemail me and we can work something out.

Maybe we need to do a 3 way trade!

I've been looking for flying dragon for a few years but it's hard to find, and usually too large and/or expensive to ship!

Such a strange plant!

@ediblelandscapingsc, are you open to trades?
