I bought and received this from Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000OV8WM8/ emailed the company that makes it for usage directions since there are really none on the container about how often to use. They came back today with about every 10 - 12 days. I wonder it's it's safe to use on my African Violets that got bit by the sun?

I would not use root stimulator to "correct" AVs that had too much sun (ie, show signs of leaf scorch like brown spots or, in the case of variegation, they stop showing variegation). You just need to give them indirect sunlight. If planning to root leaf cuttings, you do not need root stimulator either. I remember putting the cuttings in water such that the leaf was on top of small rocks with the leaf tip just touching the water. It was a pain though since I needed to check the water levels daily for about -eh- two weeks maybe? before roots developed.

I live in SC also on the coast but in the woods of the Lowcountry. The coyote problem here is terrible and is taking a toll on our deer population... We see them at the hunting club all the time or at least evidence that they have been there.... I have had good luck with milorganite but I also use hair from my hairdresser that I spray with some cheap perfume from our local dollar store. This keeps the deer totally confused!!! But hey, it works and it's cheap, I tie the hair in stockings to make it last longer... Thumbs up

Thanks Suga, it appears as though other than the few times they were in the yard destroying my Hydrangeas and my large Hibiscus they've been absent. Not sure why, but I'm not complaining.
