Your article is informative.
I am also an amature photographer. I am not well versed in the electronic age so no metadata for me that I know of.
I do keep files and folders on a monthly basis and photo all gardens.It makes a great reference when ordering bulbs or plants for an area.
Your record keeping is a great tip .
