Photos don't do this one justice! This is a first bloom on an August 2020 planted plant and it just knocked my socks off! Brilliant from across the garden and utterly intriguing up close. And huge!

This one is a real keeper. I wasn't expecting an orange flower to be this amazing.

I have had Tuscawilla Tigress for years, it has been a great plant. Tall, large brilliant flowers that shout at you, in my garden it is more of a mid late season daylily. A good thing to me. Sturdy, well branched scapes with plenty of buds to bloom a long time.
Added in 2023 I checked bud count last year and it had between 26 - 31 buds on 12 scapes.

I found some Tuscawilla Tigress in my Island Bed this summer. Hopefully it didn't get removed with the Fulva and Kwanso. That Island bed is just full of surprises.

I had Tuscawilla Tigress for about six years and even though I really liked it, I've been in downsize mode for a few years, so got rid of it. It multiplied well and was a bright spot in the garden.

7/5/2019 - clump shot. Blooms mid-June to mid-July in my zone 6b garden. Have not seen rust, but that is usually not a problem here.

7/3/2019 - guessing 3 to 4-way branching and about 15 buds based on this picture.

I do like those light midribs on it. It is an all-around nice plant.
