Thank you. It is a border iris & a little plain but can be jazzed up with some ruffles another time. Its pod parent was a species iris which helped with branching, giving it 7 buds the first year of bloom; hence the name. When hybridizing one must be careful as it is bearing your name. It was the first BB I introduced since the mid-ninties so I am pleased with it. thank you for favorable comments.
I loved 'More Raspberries Please' at the convention. It is I.versicolor. The hybridizer said it is still a seedling. I hope that it gets introduced soon.
There is only one problem I have with iris named for song titles, I keep singing the song while I am gardening!
