I planted three varieties of Milkweeds for the Monarchs several years ago. I recently saw one or two of this year's swarm of Monarchs on the Abelia just outside a front window. Always gives me a bit of a thrill.
It's so sad about the loss of the Monarch's and I truly agree that we as gardeners need to start planting more host plants (Milkweed) for these beautiful Butterflies that are declining at drastic rates.
LOL, yep Passiflora is a host plant for the beautiful Gulf Fritillary Butterfly!
