We had some cooler temps. for about a week & 1/2 but the blasted humidity was so unreasonably high that it might as well have been in the 90's for temps. -- we've had a succession of heavily overcast, misting or raining or just about to days - probably a week of that. The humidity made it too hot to go out & do any work outside. Yesterday it *seemed* not too bad & I was considering getting out & doing some weeding but a walk down to the mail & back showed me the errors of my thinking.

All in all, this part of FL has had really crappy weather since June. Glare Glare Glare

Yep, for the first time since moving here over 4 years ago, the mosquitoes are a factor. Not anything like what we're used to dealing with but today I was out weeding & slapped a few dead on my arms & legs. Angry
They will ride in on your hair or clothing. And I want to know how the heck they know what a door is??? They KNOW & lay in wait for you to open it. The question is; why do they want to get in the house?????

Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious!

At least the ones up here are the big mohonking suckers you can *see* and you darn sure *feel* when they land on you AND they are slow so you can smack them DEAD.
They have mutated down south to these tiny but viciously voracious vampires that you can't feel land on you and they are difficult to see AND they are fast as lightning. You go to smack them & the air from your hand poofs them away out of your reach. Aggravating doesn't begin to describe them. Whistling
