My persimmon from Plant Me Green arrived yesterday!!!

I got an email from them on Monday saying it was being boxed & would ship on Tuesday; that means it would be to me on Wednesday since they're only about 115 miles from me. I was really surprised because their website says those don't ship until December but I'm happy to get it now anyway.
Fabulous packaging. fabulous condition, healthy plant. You ought to see the roots on this. I will try to remember to take a photo of them when I go to plant it. I spent today trying to decide on the best location.

I am so excited. My Candice Red Grape arrived today from Plant Me Green.

Believe me when I say, these people do not send tiny plants. And they really know how to package for shipping safety/health of the plant. Just amazing.
Here a some photos. Monday I will be planting it on our existing grape arbor.

It is starting to go dormant, and our rains have begun with temperatures into the 30's & 40's at night. Perfect time to get it into the grounds.

It is so stout and robust. I was expecting a little skinny twig with roots. Not so, this vine is ready to do something, maybe even a few grapes next year?
