That might be a good option for the seed swap in general, maybe some place to tell a short bit "About My Gardens", if that's doable.

We should be able to put something like that in the text box that Dave is going to give us Smiling

Hurray! Good to know I am not the only person creating a practice list for later use.
Looks like Danita, Jimard8, and Emquinn are doing the same. Thumbs up
I have looked at all the seeds on everyone's list; lots of good stuff being offered. Thumbs up

Thank you, Sandy. Thumbs up I'm guessing there will be many features that Dave is working on that we just don't know about yet. Smiling

I'm thinking that once the swap feature gets off the ground, there will be an option to "join this swap" where it will make each swap exclusive to only the members that join.

In just a few months I will be hosting an all-inclusive (not restricted to 20 participants) seed swap for whomever would like to join. I'm hoping it will include many members with lots of seed options for everyone. I plan on offering far more seeds to that swap than for the beta since there will--I hope--be many more people involved.

(Dave is kindly doing this mini beta swap to test things out and try and overcome as many obstacles as possible before hosting is opened up to others.)

RickCorey, good feedback. I'll be thinking about your ideas. And yes, do suggest any ideas you have.

Thanks, Dave. I could preface most of them with "You've probably already considered this but ...".

And some may not even seem very workable or highly valuable to me, but my feeling about design-time brainstorming is that even a BAD idea may trigger a good one. And you're the only one who knows whether a feature would be easy or hard to add.

And I'm very excited about trading. (Trying to find time to split, label and offer some new seeds I just bought, but I will NOT list a seed that isn't ready to be mailed out (been there, done that, regretted it)).

But the worst is having a big bubble mailer all ready to go, then LOSING it. Blush, blush blush.

Since everyone else will probably be too polite to ask, I will do so:

GardenQuilts/Andi,
Sorry to hear that you are suffering by any distress you are feeling might be self-inflicted. I had sent you a Cubits C-mail on Jun 15, 2015 including a photo of my new dog and did not hear back from you. Hope you and Winston are well. Glad you joined in the ATP Seed Swap and hope you enjoy the fun. I'll be watching and cheering from the sidelines. Thumbs up
