It is difficult to be "fair" in a mixed group with experienced gardeners and new gardeners. When I was a novice gardener/seed trader, seeds I thought -were special (like purple morning glories and matching African and French yellow marigolds) were old hat to the experienced gardeners.

I agree with much of what you said. It's tough to be fair, but I think a lot of people, if they see in discussion that someone is offering something because another person requested it, would hold off requesting that seed. If they don't see that discussion though...
What you're saying about new gardeners and 'old hat' seeds it probably very true, though, and considering the variety that's being offered, it does seem that a lot of people are going to get a lot of things they want.
I, too, am behind on the threads. Everyone's been very chatty the last couple of days!
I haven't been able to keep up.
Tomorrow I only work half a day, so maybe I'll be able to follow along better, then.
