That is ok, my dog calls me woof, but he has a special woof for my attention. He is making it now.

He is reminding me that I haven't cooked dinner tonight. I had a sandwich, but I guess that doesn't count.

maybe he wants his evening walk early, terrible timing!

GardenQuilts said:I like the idea of bonus dibbs. It encourages people to list desirable seeds.

It is difficult to be "fair" in a mixed group with experienced gardeners and new gardeners. When I was a novice gardener/seed trader, seeds I thought -were special (like purple morning glories and matching African and French yellow marigolds) were old hat to the experienced gardeners.

I am trying to catch up with the many threads...

I agree with much of what you said. It's tough to be fair, but I think a lot of people, if they see in discussion that someone is offering something because another person requested it, would hold off requesting that seed. If they don't see that discussion though... Shrug! What you're saying about new gardeners and 'old hat' seeds it probably very true, though, and considering the variety that's being offered, it does seem that a lot of people are going to get a lot of things they want.

I, too, am behind on the threads. Everyone's been very chatty the last couple of days! Hilarious! I haven't been able to keep up. Rolling my eyes. Tomorrow I only work half a day, so maybe I'll be able to follow along better, then. Big Grin

I've looked back through several threads for this and haven't found anything about it, so maybe I just dreamed it or something... was there something about at the end of the swap (or at some point) if we've requested more packs than we've "sold," then some of our requests will be rescinded?

Sandy I don't remember seeing that. I believe we all knew when it got started that it may not be even. Who would decide what would get rescinded?

No, nothing gets rescinded. The system isn't keeping track of that. You can call dibs for as many items as you have tickets for.

Thanks for the "official" reply, Dave -- I have no idea where I came up with that thought (and no wonder I couldn't locate when I looked back through the threads) Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing
