Sluggo Plus - order it online in lots of 4-6 pound box quantities for a great price, lasts for a long time.

I've tried all these various methods, but still swear by Sluggo Plus. Used regularly, it will eliminate all your snail and slug problems. Have not had problems in over six years now. And I have dozens of varieties of hostas and other slug/snail favorites.

This is not anything like the poisonous baits containing metaldehyde.

Sluggo is non-toxic, safe around kids, pets, etc, uses naturally occurring low levels of iron phosphate in soil, but with concentrations that will kill slugs, snails and a couple other bugs.

No messy beer traps, no hand spraying, just toss small handfuls into the garden areas, or around favorite hangouts like wood piles, dead matter, etc.
