Does anyone know if there is a general rule of thumb for Euphorbia low temperature? I believe 30 degrees F. I am a backyard (hard) grower. I do not have a greenhouse. Photo is E. persistens.

I appreciate any assistance.

Our winters here are cold and wet so I keep them indoors when temps starts going below 50F, keeping them dry, but I have them by our south facing window while indoors. They like to be kept warm.

I have this plant. With time it will grow a nice caudex. What Tarev said, I also take it inside latest when temps start dipping into the low fifties.

I live in AZ and my Euphorbia have hit 38 degrees recently . Since it is dry here I believe they can make 30 degrees. The E. will be brought into a low light environment when temps are below 38 degrees.

I appreciate your response. I lived on the east coast, the south and the mid-west. The desert southwest is a completely different animal. Has your persistens flowered?

My plant blooms every Summer. The "blooms" smell a bit like Dandelions.
