I have to find Horton Iris. Battenkill Riffle is John's IB & I love it.

Many irises (especially medians) come from the work of Bee Warburton & Ben Hager. Ben Hager developed the tetraploid MTBs. We have his 'New Idea' which continues to bloom in a shady area.

I got Patchwork Puzzle last year, but lost it during the winter. Mid America sent a new one as a bonus this year. It's amazing. I sure hope it blooms next spring.

Florentine Silk is an amazing Keppel iris. I was so happy when it won the Dyke's Medal.

Tom, you posted another one I lost this year. Sighing!

Plot Line (Ghio, 2011)

This is one of the irises that was attacked by the wild turkey's and is struggling in a pot. I sure hope it pulls through, or it will be added to the order list next year.

If it is okay to post those Iris which haven't bloomed for me yet, or those on my wish list...

Have this one. My have and wish lists are strongly weighted toward Augusto Bianco Irises.
It’s okay to not know all the answers.

At the ISM meeting some of the photos were from Keith Keppel's garden. I think he originally built on Gibsons' but many generations later he is 'plicata man'. His 'Emma Cook' pattern seedling are also great. For those who get his catalog note that he puts in the pedigrees.

I learned Marky's Smith's name when I saw a photo of her IB, Lakota and bought it this year. But
I've posted the picture of Lakota before on the forum and thought
another good example of Marky Smith's work would be Starwoman - which won the Dykes
Medal 2015 - in the Intermediate class.

I'm addicted to these purple fall/ gold crested masterpieces. He uses 'Edith Wolford' in a few of his crosses. Something I may try to mimic down the road. A lot are these purple themes, but they're all unique and I teresting in their own way.
Gimme it and I'll grow it!
