I just went through the hot peppers thread and @cycajungle has some fantastic photo's but the actual plant isn't in the database yet. I'm not comfortable requesting someone else's photo's be added as a new plant. How should we handle this?

Propose the addition of the new plant first. If it's a legitimate name, the proposal will be approved, and then you can add the photo or photos to the entry.

does "propose this image for the database" or something like that...work the same as the association thing? I can't tell you the number of times I've seen beautiful photo's with names but have never clicked on that If it doesn't work the same, then I'm hoping @dave will keep this option forever. It sure is easy to add photo's to the database. Doesn't have to be the contest, just getting the photo's in.

Yes, the process has always worked like this, but it once used the term "import" instead of "associate."
