Ann - I wonder why you are getting higher temps than me on Christmas day? I am much further south than you down here in southeast central Florida. Weather forecast says 81 for Christmas Day with a chance of showers. Whew! It's cooling off a little bit! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious!

Yes! This has been a hot Fall/Winter so far. I am quite disappointed as I really was looking forward to some cool winter weather. My other concern is the ocean temps. When the ocean is warm in the Spring, it makes for stronger hurricanes. Living on the east coast of Florida .... hurricane season is always on my mind. Sad

We got 0.14 inches of rain last night. It doesn't look like we'll get anymore. They are calling for a high of 63F. And something new called 'overcast'.

Sounds like a great Christmas dinner, Arlene. I haven't had a good baguette in a l-o-n-g time.
Rainy here all week in the low 40s. Christmas Day we'll have sun and 50 degrees. My cousin's talking about having us eat outside! Sure is different from last year when by now we'd already had 7 weeks of cold, snowy weather. No one is complaining about this warm winter!

Rob, finding good bread in the Daytona area is neigh impossible! I bake a lot and may try a new recipe for baguettes using a French style flour from King Arthur flour. My problem is that I can't decide on a dessert.

We woke up this morning to the sound of the weather radio going off, letting us know that we had tornado and severe thunderstorms headed our way. We have already had some showers passing through, but no thunder -- ooops -- just heard some thunder, so I suppose we were not in for a very nice day today. Sad Shrug! Sighing!

P.S.I believe we will rethink our trip to the post office and shut down the computers.
Any day you wake up on the sunny side of the grass is a good day.

Jean - Yikes! Tornadoes possibly passing through northern FL. Stay safe!

My sister lives up there in Ocala (actually Ft. McCoy). I hope they are safe. They live in a double wide mobile home. (Which always worries me!) I hope the weather doesn't become that severe.

It is cloudy and warm today .... lower 80s. Possible rain today. Supposed to get rain on Christmas day, too! Ugh.
