I'm glad that it's been relatively mild here, but not so warm that things are growing and blooming inappropriately! Blinking

Sunny and 33F here today... I should go out and do some work in the greenhouse, it's over 80 in there right now Big Grin

Wow that was weird. I hit a button and a bunch of "code" came up and my message was gone.

I'll try again....it's 55 outside and overcast (damp). Normally at this time of year we can have nights in the 30's and days in the 60's- 70"s and during these cooler spells, the sun is always shining and humidity is very low.

Average first frost being 11/15, I moved all my potted tenders into the guest house for the winter and put the orchids in my garden tub, spiders and all. yeck. So far we have only had 3 separate nights in the 30's, no frost. Christmas Day it was 81.

Maybe these past two days are the sign we will move into our normal weather patterns so the gardens will quit being confused.

Hey Rita, I hear the East Coast may see some sun in the next few days! If not, our household got a "Happy Light" for Christmas.

I definitely feel the urge to hibernate during the Winter. Or one of those fabled 'long winter's naps! Up in Saranac Lake (just down the road from Lake Placid and Winter Olympics training compound) seems there are more people out and about doing winter activities than there were in the summer though I found the summers there to be a tremendous relief from the heat and humidity of the Mid Atlantic.

Not much sunshine as on my dog exercise walks there is rarely sun. The sun tried to come out today for a time but soon disappeared again.

I used to pretty much hibernate in the winters and stayed inside. Rarely went outside. Only when totally necessary. Now I have my dog and have to go outside each day even if I don't really want to be outside.

We do long exercise walks of 3 miles each day. My dog is small but she is just full of energy.

'April Rose' camellia is starting to bloom in my garden (two blooms so far). In 2015, it bloomed in mid-April.

It's currently 40 here. Too warm for January. I'm used to having to wear my bibs and be completely bundled up to stay warm. Hilarious! . If it was normal I wouldn't be complaining but I want a lot of snow and a good white winter. It would help kill some of the bugs. Hilarious!

I've been dealing with my new TV too. Took forever to get rid of the pink and now while it's not as bright as I want at least the colors are pretty much what they should be. Hilarious! . I just have to get a sound bar which I'm doing tomorrow. The speakers are on the back and drive me up the wall that way. Grumbling Hilarious!

We had a 'cold' front come through Hilarious! Just down to 65 this morning. At least the a/c is off for a few days! And the humidity is down which makes it very nice. I think there is some yardwork in my future. Thumbs up

I'm a bit north of you Hetty and it's 47 this morning. I knew when I woke up with leg cramps, it was time to turn the heat on. 64 in the house.

Still raining for the 3rd day in a row.

Supposed to be clear tomorrow with a high of 62 and low of 38 tonight. We are painting the outside of a house and will be back there tomorrow. Think I might go out at 10. Can't paint when it's too cold. Not so much for the paint, but for the human flesh. Crying

When we got up it was 37 and sunny, but now clouds are moving in. No rain in the forecast so I'm afraid it will just turn into a cloudy dreary day.
Any day you wake up on the sunny side of the grass is a good day.

37 or so for high here today. Still a lot of ice and snow. I've come close to slipping under my truck several times. Not so bad if I have proper shoes on. Hilarious!

Cooler morning .. ahem Whistling 12F .. but it's going to be SUNNY .. once the sun wakens Smiling

I have decided that there is NO such a thing as buying a new TV, plugging it in and, having it work immediately Angry
So far, we have spent about $150. on peripherals .. had to upgrade the receiver as our other TV was (OMG.. 6Yrs old) !!! Shrug!
New technology is changing daily .. once we had a 'sorta' handle on it .. it took, are ya ready .. 12 hours to upgrade .. we could still watch it .. but .. it wasn't finished becoming 'WHOLE', til 2am Drooling

Enjoy your day I tip my hat to you.
