We hosted friends for New Years Eve dinner and I had two blooming orchids and a Red Pitcher plant in Patty's three bejeweled baskets. Everyone loved those baskets.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.
I keep my one and only Vanda in my bejeweled basket..it has red, yellow and orange beads..the plant has red flowers ..so when it blooms it will be 'matchy matchy' and out of bloom it's beautiful...especially with the sun shining through it!
