Is fireworks gomphrena the hot pink with the golden yellow tips? If so, I can send you some spent blossoms. Tree-mail me your address.

Porterweed is lovely and I understand a butterfly host plant. Too bad it is not remotely hardy in my zone. Then again ... nah .... just one more thing to lug in. Big Grin

Which Porterweed are you looking to find? I might have a few ( 4-5 seeds) that I can send you collected this fall, but mine is Stachytarpheta mutabilis, Coral Porterweed. I have to grow it as an annual here.

I have a blue/purple porterweed Stachytarpheta urticifolia (not the native of Florida) that I can trade...am looking for butterfly host plants...if you have any seeds? If not, you can send me a SASBE & I'll send seeds. Email me at [email protected] & I'll send my address.

Hi everyone,

I thought I would make a request for porterweed seeds in this thread instead of making a new one. I wanted to try it next year to entice butterflies and bees. I have seeds of Salvia species and myriad variety of flowering vine seeds (primarily Ipomoea species and cultivars) to offer.

Joseph
