This one is not a typical garden plant but I think it's charming and would love to give it a go. Doesn't have to be a specific type but I do like the orange and red ones. If you have extra seeds lets work something out thanks! Smiling

Are you meaning sphaeralcea ambigua? That one is prety cool would like to grow it myself, but doubt that it would do well here....hope you find some seeds and hope it does well for you.....never hurts to try.

I grew Sphaeralcea grossulariifolia a few years ago. It struggled in the high humidity but sent up a few blooms before disappearing. If I had given it the same dry protected conditions I did Cleome lutea it might have been more successful.
I don't have any seeds left, but I got them from Western Native Seeds. I've never had trouble germinating their seeds and the prices are reasonable.
