We're expecting snow tonight and tomorrow. No gardening for me. I'll just have to watch you guys have fun in the dirt for a while yet.

Oh boy, no fair on having snow. Maybe that will be the last one of the season.

We had some snow overnight and during the day today, but it pretty much melted as fast as it came down

I'm getting pretty antsy to do something outside, but for a while yet I'm going to have to content myself with starting seeds indoors and taking care of them

Can't plant anything outside as yet except for peas which are coming up. I will direct sow some beets and turnips but I feel it is still too early.

Well, for once the weather guessers were wrong, and looks like the bulk of the snow will be North of me. We are supposed to be getting rain now later tonight turning to freezing rain and a bit of snow, maybe less then an inch. We'll have to see what really happens.

I turned a lot of garden yesterday and only planted peas. It was tempting to put onions out, but I'll wait. April is when I start most of my cold crop planting.

It's spitting a little rain this morning but I'm waiting for the real deal tonight.

The Weather Channel is saying 10 inches or so of snow for us...

(I was in complete denial about the possibility of that, until I saw that Mike Seidel -- the Weather Channel guy that always gets sent to the worst snowstorm areas - is in Green Bay, WI ! )

Oh no.

The worst of it is supposed to be North of where I am, we're looking at 1 to 4 inches, but we were supposed to get some snow last night, and it went North of here. I have my fingers crossed that it keeps away!

I'm really glad I live where I do.

DH made planter boxes for me and I mixed all sorts of dirts and composted manure. The other day I bent over and pushed my onions in 2'' deep. No hoe, no string no back raking the clods. It was fun!

I bought another rutabaga. I am going to have to plant a few next year. I like them better than turnips.
