Paul, your good friends have a beautiful shade garden! I love Hosta's but have never tried them because I was told they would not survive in Florida. I recently heard of a variety that has apparently been out for a few years now called SunHosta that supposedly love the Florida heat and humidity ... and full sun! We are moving @ 100 miles farther south in May so I may have to give them a try once we get settled.
~ I'm an old gal who still loves playing in the dirt!
~ Playing in the dirt is my therapy ... and I'm in therapy a lot!
