Hurray!

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.

Ok Patty and Elaine...you are NOT helping me keep my wish list to a reasonable number...that Gct Renate...is now on it.. Patty , did that come from Krull-Smith or Orchids in Bloom?
Ursula...your Rojo is drop dead gorgeous....love that rich color...and 5 spikes?...what a spectacle !
Ken, that's one happy plant...great color on the leaves and the roots look terrific! I tip my hat to you.

Pretty sure Patty got that one at Krull-Smith, Lindsey. I can't say enough good things about it, it's a lusty little plant that blooms like mad. The only little drawback is that it doesn't have any fragrance.

Orchids in Bloom might have it, too though. They are owned by Krull-Smith now, it seems.

There's an event with vendors at Selby this weekend, and both Plantio and Tropiflora folks will be there. I think I might need to visit . . .

Y'all have some beautiful blooms going on!!! It is sunny here today so I am going to try to get a few photos.

Great news! I think I mentioned that I was being head hunted. They made the offer and I accepted the new Account Executive position. My old company cut me loose immediately since I am going to a competitor so I start Monday!

We were worried that it might affect our loan for the new house, but just got word last evening that they have accepted the signed offer letter so we are on track for closing end of March!

Wow! We have rounded up some friends to help us move the orchids. We got an extra 48 hours to dismantle the greenhouse. Now we are finishing the packing.

And tomorrow I am giving a presentation about AOS Judging to our society. Then out of town for 2 weeks training on the new job.

It is crazy around here! I'll post photos later today!

Goodness, take a breath Melissa! You've really got a lot going on in your life with a new job and a new house in the same month (or so).

I have a new bloom open today on my big NOID Catt - lots of red color in this one, thanks to the very cool weather we've had since New Years. Same picture, with and without flash - the flash really shows up the diamond dusting on this flower.

Thanks Jim & Ursula for the correct name!

So how did your sister in law like the burger, Jim?

Sorry Lindsey! This is a bad place to be if you're trying NOT to increase your wish list! Whistling I simplified mine...I just want one of eveything!! Rolling on the floor laughing
I think I got it at the second place we went to that day...sorry I don't remember the names of the places. Elaine probably remembers better than I do.

Elaine, that catt is AWESOME!

She liked the burger but half of it came home in a box. I couldn't have eaten that thing in one sitting either.

Nice colors on your NOID, Elaine.

I see I have 6 talks to give in March plus the MG tour of the OC and gardens on the 3rd. I've been out redoing name tags on the palms. cycads and larger plants. It seems name tags are one of the hardest things to maintain. I'm almost as busy as Melissa. Somehow I think she will have it all under control and ahead of schedule to boot.
