What a shame someone had to steal your friends plant and especially nervy that they dug it right out of the ground!! I just can't believe some people have the nerve to go on someones property to steal what does not belong to them but I guess it happens all the time.
Some years ago I had a huge Golden Barrel Cactus sitting out in front of the house; the container was worth more than the really large cactus and although I wasn't really attached to the plant, it was sad to lose the pot. It was so heavy that my husband couldn't even lift it by himself ... and I went out one morning to get the newspaper and noticed that it was gone! I hoped that whoever took it would enjoy it but someone said they probably took it so they could resell it.
