How much fertilizer are you sprinkling around each established clematis
I have 8 8 8 granular to use?

We fertilize march lst in my area..all our perennials..

Will prune the group that gets pruned on March lst and fertilize
same day...

I typically use organic rose food for our clematis plants. clematis have about the same nutritional needs as roses. just follow the directions on the rose food package. along with that, mix 1 cup of alfalfa meal into the surrounding soil of your clematis plants when fertilizing. add alfalfa meal once a month. flowers galore!!!
