I got some of those, too, Ronnie. Was thinking A. hubrichtii, but maybe the seeds of many Amsonia species look similar. (I've only grown A. hubrichtii.)

Michelle mine were marked as Centaurea montana.

Amsonia tabernaemontana seeds look like that too. I don't know about species outside that and hubrichtii.

Ronnie they could also be rudbeckia /coneflower seeds.

That's good detective work Alana. The 'Amethyst in Snow' part remains a mystery.

I think somehow that plant (C. montana, Amethyst in Snow) was one of the species and cultivars that came up when someone was entering seeds in their trade list and they seized on the first thing that resembled the name they were trying to find...

Red bud seed pods look like that, also lupine.
