I'm a sucker for plants on the clearance rack anywhere I was at Lowe's last week and they had some pink Oleander for $3.00/ea so I grabbed four of them. Of course as you can see in the photo the leaves got bit somewhat which is why they were on the rack. I've got them potted and have fed with fish emulsion and sprayed the leaves with some diluted Hasta liquid plant food. Question is what should I do about the dead leaves? Cut them off with scissors? If they're still partially green just cut off the dead portion or just leave everything as is?
I am no oleander expert, but I would be inclined to leave them alone. The half-dead leaves will not harm the plant and may still be able to produce food for it as they are partly green.
Hi Chris, I am not an expert but have had plenty of oleanders,
I would cut them off, just because they will look better
Good for you on the good deals !!
