It has been brought to our attention that your two images may be incorrect. This image also posted in this entry is directly from the Cayeux family website. There is another image on Iris Wiki site http://wiki.irises.org/bin/vie... that contains the description from Cayeux which states: "Standards warm shade of old gold; falls large, round, garnet red, colored gold at the throat". Your images do not seem to match. If you do not know what your iris is, we will have to remove the images.

As you can see on this picture the tag was wrong at the Parc Floral de Paris where I took this picture. I'll let them know and yes you can delete both of my 2 photos since I don't know what is the real name of this iris.

It's a shame they had it wrong Andre but I hear it happens in the best of public gardens! Best thing is to always compare descriptions and other images if available.
Your images have been moved to the generic Iris entry.
