Thread OP

Kent, I moved and dug up some of my iris up since my dear friend who gave them to me has passes....My question is I tagged them , wraped them in shredded news paper then put them in paper bags in a dry area...Will this preserve them until I get settled? I hope you have a answer...yours are so georgous .....Thanks Vickki

Irises are pretty tough. As long as you keep them dry, they should be fine. You might want to be careful with the paper. If it traps moisture against the rhizome, there's a risk of rot.
