Mary Ann, you have company!

I have not ordered, acquired, begged, borrowed or stolen any new ( or old ) iris........yet this year.

And that's the truth.....said in my very best Edith Ann voice.... Hilarious! Angel

All my ordering info is home. I'm pretty sure I'm above 50... But I ain't close to done.. I haven't really talked about trades much yet, and there's our picnic, and club digs, and door prizes... There's always a good possibility of adding to existing orders (as much as I say I won't).
The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that it has never tried to contact us.

People who remain at 0 by the end of the deadline risk having an emotional breakdown come the next bloom season, along with being tagged as an iris underachiever! This could turn into paralysis of the iris purchasing instinct and become terminal.

Only if you split the iris lengthwise and plant only half. Blinking

To date: 73 ordered and 10 more to be ordered mid-April. Still have updates to The Shady Spot Iris to check out in May, the PNW sale in September, oh, and, yeah, going to the Dallas Iris Society Show and Sale on April 9th. With trades and bonuses still to come, I am thinking I will be Pretty Messed Up by year's end. Big Grin

I'm going to use this *rule* to drastically cut my number Sticking tongue out , It's just a shame that when I find one, or two that I need for "replacement purposes", I have to order three, or four others to *fill out the order* Whistling

I guess I'm going through my iris second childhood (kid stuff). Last year was the first time in years we actually ordered iris (8 arils) for ourselves. None this year. And we only get a handful from our club each year.

WHERE DO YOU FIND THE SPACE TO PUT ALL THESE NEW IRIS!?!?!?

MORE IMPORTANTLY, WHERE DO YOU FIND THE ENERGY TO CARE FOR THAT MANY?!?!?!?

I guess we have been at it too long and the magic is gone, the iris virus has run it's course.
