Got a couple pictures yesterday. The first one is my NOID Luminata. It has opened up fully so it can be compared properly. Thanks Leslie and Greg for your suggestion. I agree that there's a great deal of similarity. Now I need to contact the *gifter* and see if he grows/grew Telepathy.

I'll take a picture of the throat today for comparison to Leslie's shot.

Here's Comfortable looking particularly pretty this year:

I see through the windows that there are at least a couple newly opened Irises out there -- I'll be taking pictures today!! Smiling

It happens to the best of us! I had a couple of yours, High Master and Dragon's Flight, open yesterday and they are looking great! Will post pics soon.

My High Master has two bloom stalks on it. My Dragon's Flight will have to wait until next year as it is doing so-so.

This is a NOID I've had for years. I post a picture of it every year, hoping that someone will recognize it:

And this is Amain, an old faithful. Hybridized in 1985, it is the happiest, bloomingest, most vigorous Iris I have. I can share, if anyone is interested.

Tom -- my photos of your seedling turned out awful. The wind was blowing so hard that they were very fuzzy. I'll try again!!

Just beautiful, Mary Ann. My Safari Sunset was dug up by critters twice last year and the last time lay drying in the August sun for days before I found it. It is alive with just one fan and no bloom. I am glad to see a photo of yours. Smiling

Mary Ann, I'm interested in Amain! Love those yellow and white bicolors, and the plant vigor would be great!

Safari Sunset and Leaps and Bounds are both stunning too.

Oh Janie -- I'm so glad to hear that!!! Rio Rojo (which is my all-time favorite red) is blooming for me now, and High Master will be open tomorrow. I moved Sharp Dressed Man last fall, so I'm not sure that it's gonna bloom this year -- but it looks healthy and happy. And THESE days -- that's a good thing!!!

Neal -- I'm operating without most of my computer Iris lists. So -- please -- send me a tree-mail with *Amain* in the subject line, and include your address. I'll look for that subject line when it's time to dig!!! Smiling

Hi Barbara! Thanks -- but I have an absolute moratorium on incoming Irises this year. But I'll be happy to send you Amain for postage. Send me a tree-mail with *Amain* in the subject line, and your address. When it's time to dig, I'll be looking for these subject names to alert me as to what I owe to whom!! Green Grin!

I'm usually much better organized, Neal. But my new laptop wouldn't recognize my Microsoft Works program where I keep all of my records. I did download a free office program and at least got my database uploaded, but it's clumsy to use and won't let me make changes (actually, I can make a change -- I just can't *save* it). So I'm biting the bullet and am going to purchase another Works program. Very frustrating............... Angry
