Hope that you are felling better, Neil. I read a note yesterday that said the north of Britain had the coldest summer in years. I'm sure you were a bit chilly as well.

Dear Lucy, they have had it rough up north this year and it may be a bad winter! Yes it was chilly here but not like they have had to suffer. When we had to go up to Norfolk we saw Sarah's Uncle Roy who is a Fuchsia grower, and it has been a bad year for him with the cold and the drought on our east coast. Freezing cold winds coming off the north sea and no rain was not good for him at all. When we got there it was blowing a force 10 gale and you you could hardly stand up in the wind, plus it was cold, very cold.
Let us hope it gets better, but somehow I doubt it!
Regards.
Neil.

First snow tonight. Since we are so near the coast, I don't think it will stick.

Weather can really screw things up! Here it is 78 and a little cloudy. This I can deal with. No more snow for me.

Have a great day kids,

Nancy

Dear Lucy, I don't think so as it has been a bit wet and damp here plus overcast apart from a couple of days! Some years it does not flower but now with the cold weather it has decided to which is most strange indeed.
I hope you are well?
Regards.

We are fine. Garden has finished, leaves to rake etc. It is suddenly in the 60s this week so should get outside to work, I have much to do getting grass out of the iris beds. I see that some has moved in from the surrounding paths so should start that first, for as long as my shoulder holds out. I will have to go for another shot. John can work on leaves, not all are down as yet. the movement back & forth with the rake is too much for me. He has a 'blower' but is too hard now on his shoulder to carry it; therefore the rake.

Hi Neil... I was just thinking that I hadn't seen anything of you lately on ATP, so I came looking for you! I guess I got lost when you started this thread, then I wasn't on much for a while (gardening and enjoying summertime). I hope your teeth are better now. We're pretty much ready for winter, have had a little bit of snow, but just rain today.

Hi everyone, and welcome back, Jamie!

Dear Brenda, I have been busy with Remembrance Day parade and my other duties for the Royal British Legion and my parents. I have to gog back to Hospital on Fridat about my teeth, Oh what fun that is.
I hope you and Tony are well? Just finished putting the bulbs in and the darn squirrels have dug them up, but what can you do?
Regards.
Neil.
