There are some very tiny semps out there. Here is one I have that I love. You can compare size with the little slow release fertilizer ball that was in the potting mix. Rosette 1" across.
This one is new to me this year, it looks like it is going to grow in a cute little clump. Rosettes 1 to 1 1/2".

Twit is the one that got me hooked on the tiny ones. I know there are many more that are verrrrrry tiny. Have to find some of them.

Some of my very fave tiny Semps are the montanum group - I have montanum minimum (each rosette about the size of a pea) and the very minuscule hookeri that you mentioned above.
