I grew these cacti from a seed mix marketed by Ferry Morse. I was wondering if any of you recognize any of these critters?

Thanks!

I was surprised they still marketed the seeds. Here are the possibilities:

Contains the following varieties: Saguaro, Hedgehog, Fishhook Barrel, Dollar Prickly Pear, Cane Chollia, Desert Prickly Pear, Christmas Cholla, and Santa Rita.

There are no prickly pears or chollas in your photos but the two small round ones do look like Ferocactus. The rest, you might have to wait to see flowers. Ferocactus don't bloom until they are 6 or 7 years old.

How long ago did you plant the seeds? I started a couple packs of the same mix of seeds earlier this year.

These plants are about 6 years old. I'd been growing them in somewhat a neglect mode. I repotted them this weekend so now they have all that Miracle Gro Cactus soil has to offer.

If those are the only possibilities you have some Hedgehogs (the majority from the looks of it) and like Daisy says maybe two, three or possibly four Ferocacti (the Fishhook barrel). The one on the back far right looks like some light starved golden barrel cacti seedlings I have seen, but since that was not in the mix... it is probably another Ferocactus - they do look like that when young. I do not think any of those look like Saguaro seedlings, but light and growing conditions may have them look unlike what I am used to.

I just planted some of the same seeds in May of this year, I am hoping to get them looking like yours but mine are still babies, and yes ferry Morse still sells the same seeds packets! 😁🌵🌵
