This is a seedling from seed of Mark Dimmitt. First time blooming for "Arabicum x Crispum".

I really like the crispum leaves. How big is that flower?

Interesting flower she has...quite petite, but pretty.

Marica,
The flower is more of the Arabicum size (small). It is the leaves that I am enjoying w this one.

I was looking at a Crispum on ebay today. It had very wavy thin leaves. Could this be a true Crispum? It sold so I don't have a pic.

It could be Marica. I tend to not buy from eBay (plants), unless it is someone that I know of or have been recommended. Too many scams w plants in particular.
I was told that "Crispum" as a whole is not started from seed because it is not known to be a strong plant. Crispum is used mostly for crossing with other species.

This is an old post but interesting that 2 of these newly purchased seedlings (front) have this leaf color and fuzzy feel on the underside of the leaves. Most likely an Arabicum X Crispum. Can't wait to see when it blooms.
