99 forums and they're not even listed alphabetically?! They used be categorized, e.g. Regional Gardening, etc. I spent a good hour trying to configure my home page, something I shouldn't have to do. I used to like coming here and just browse, now it's a pain. Is it possible to have an option for the NGA classic website, i.e. the old one?

If you go straight to the forums list it is in alphabetical order.

I think the 99 forums was always not in alphabetical order. I just have the forums list bookmarked and go straight there without going to the home page.

The way they are listed hasn't changed, actually, and the old "classic" version of the website was the very same way.

If you want the categorized alphabetical version click on Community up top, then click on "Forums".

I can't find anywhere where they are not listed alphabeticaly or categorized. They always have been, haven't they?

At your homepage, click on Community, then a drop down window shows Forums, it will direct you to the alphabetized Forums list.

Or at the end of each thread, scroll way down to the end, and you can click on the link Forums list.

If you "watch" at least one forum (Site Talk would be a good one, IMO), the list of all the forums doesn't show up on your home page; instead there is a box saying "you are watching 1 of our 99 forums" -- you can click on the "99 forums" and get the alphabetized and categorized list.

Here's what I see when I got to the home page. Under Community/Forums, it's like the old site, categorically and alphabetically arranged. But that pretty much makes the home page useless, I may as well set the link to just bypass the home page altogether.

I wouldn't think you need the entire 99 forums showing on your Home page, especially since you can click on it in the Community tab. Someone mentioned the editing of the Home page in your thread yesterday and you said it helped, so I am not understanding why you are still having trouble with it.

You can go to your profile, click settings and click the Customize your Garden.org homepage and move the features around as you want. For instance, I have my watched forums at the top left. I added a few other features that I wanted and left the rest in the Available box on the left side.

Or you can click on the Clear your dashboard and start over and it clears all the columns and features. Then just create one to three column rows, drag what you want into them and check to see how it looks, tweaking as needed.

Greg ( @BrinyBay ) -- did you try "watching" a forum to see if you like the way it looks any better? (see my post just above your last one)

If you set the bookmark link to the alphabetical forums list and bypass the home page, all you have to do if you do want to go to the home page is select the little house icon at the top.

There's a new forum? Anyone know what it is? Out of 100 forums, there's no way I'll be able to figure out which one wasn't there before.

I believe it is the Garden of Memories forum, a place for remembrances of members who have passed on.
