critterologist said:oooh, yardenman, you have to get "in" on our next group buy for daffs & other fall bulbs (hyacinths, yes!)... I love love fragrant daffodils, especially double and split-corona (butterfly) daffs. Where do you live in MD? The bulb buys have been distributed at fall plant swaps as well as directly from my home in Frederick...
Any chance you can come to the spring swap at Jan's? I hope so!

I think it's been a while since we've had a swap (aka "plant party") south of DC, but you're not that terribly far from Frederick for bulb pickup parties, midwinter seed swaps, etc. For the most part, we're about the same in person as we are online -- I think you could manage. And I'd love to meet you!

So we don't continue off-topic here, the link to our spring plant swap chat is here: The thread "2017 Spring Plant Swap CHAT" in Mid Atlantic Gardening forum
thread to sign up: The thread "2017 Spring Plant Swap May 6 in S New Jersey" in Mid Atlantic Gardening forum
I wrote a couple of articles about seed and plant swaps when the Mid-Atlantic group was still on Dave's Garden (well, there's still a forum there, but the activity has moved here). They may give you an idea of the "flavor" of our events! We had our TENTH annual seed swap in Feb.. :-)
