A Facebook friend in Wales sent me some Welsh Bluebell seeds. Has anyone here tried growing these? I'm afraid the heat is going to eat them alive.

I would say it's a non starter. Half of the world's bluebells are in the UK - for a good reason. They like plenty of moisture during our winter and spring, and cool shade in summer so they thrive in woodland settings, so I doubt they would get that in Texas.

Thanks Sue, that's what I was thinking also when I read the requirements. I'm wondering though if I started them in some 1gal nursery pots I have and keep them in the house during the summer? I feel an experiment coming on Whistling
