Happy New Year 2017 Everyone, and may we have a healthy and productive year.!!! Smiling

I think that no till is a good idea if you have good loose soil, but in heavy clay like ours you have to at least loosen the row for seeds.
Not with a tiller or tractor which would compact the soil, but by hand with a shovel.
I do believe in mulch completely and keep all my garden beds covered at least 2 inches deep.
Of course, it depends on how large of a garden you have and how much energy you can muster. Smiling

LOL, I see the previous posts are from 2017 but my New Year Resolutions for 2019 are still the same:

Gardening!
Gardening!
Gardening!

And I sure have my work cut out for me since our property (except for mowing) sat idle in 2018 ... the many weeds and invasive vines and trees will take a lot of time to eradicate!

🎉 Have a very fun and safe New Year's eve! Wishing you all an abundance of Happiness, Health, Wealth .... and of course Gardening in 2019!
