Hi, Josephine! Well, that one looks like Showy Menodora, Menodora longiflora. Very hardy plants, but in some roadside areas where they are mowed, they tend to go away. Too bad they do that so much in recent years.

Thank you Linda, I couldn't think of it to save my life. I no longer have the plant, but the picture is lovely so I wanted to name it correctly.
