Has anyone used Rodeo around their ponds on farms or ranches? We were up at the lake today to clean up the area around our dock while the lakes are lowered. We have so much moss that it traps the small sticks that wash up and make a mat that is near impossible to rake up.
I called the Llano Extension Office and asked if there was anything that we could use on the moss that would not harm the fish, etc. if they decided to raise the lakes early...or if it rained really hard. They gave me the name of their chemical expert and when I talked to him, he said to use "Rodeo." Said it would not harm aquatic life, just weeds, grasses, and moss, etc. I'm reading through the Google sites and most seem to say it's safe. Has anyone used this stuff? There's four families that want to try it on either sides of us, in addition to us, if it really is safe.

Thanks, @froggardener, I'll try to find it before the weekend. The ag agent said HD or Lowe's should carry it. I didn't want to buy it and then find out it was going to poison the fish, etc.

We couldn't find it at first, then we would have to have the whole cove treat the moss at the same time...and before they raise the lake again. We just ran out of time.
