I have been waiting since this past christmas to be able to join the grow light club. nodding My youngest son usually gets me what I ask for (within reason) x-mas, b-day, mothersday. Last year before x-mas I showed him some pictures of shelves with plants & lights. I asked if he could build me something like what I showed him. He is very talented with building things Rolling on the floor laughing imagine my surprise when i opened up a bran new 5 shelf metal shelving unit x-mas day. He never even noticed the grow lights that were in the pictures i had shown him. D'Oh! Oh well, it was my fault for not making it clear. I finally got a couple 4' shop lights off craigslist near my home. We bought 1 set of florescent bulbs and hope to get the other ones soon Rolling my eyes. our financal citation is very tight (fixed) so extra stuff can be difficult ya know you Whistling anyway, its a work in progress. I tip my hat to you.

I just saw your post! How did the grow light shelf unit work for you?

It. Actually worked pretty good. Just have to keep plants watered and keep rotating them. Turn them off about 9 or 10. Turn on the light about 8 am and their good to go.

@Agoo, you can plug the lights into an inexpensive mechanical timer to automate that part of your setup.
