To my iris untrained eye, the markings on "Pixie Princess" and "Pixie Flirt" look the pretty much the same. Is the only difference that one is a mini dwarf, and the other is a standard dwarf? If so would an accurate measurement be necessary to differentiate, and do I just measure the height to the top of the bloom...not the foliage? The early foliage just prior to blooming is very short, but then grows up and past the blooms by a bit. In warm springs these bloom in mid-April, and colder years it is in early to mid-May. They bloom after the crocus, siberian squill, muscari, and early daffodils. They bloom around the same time as the later daffodils and creeping phlox.
