I have had a perennial sweet pea vine growing on a fence with Virginia creeper. Its pretty cool to see it wind its way to the top with pretty pink & white flowers peeping out amongst all the leaves. Kinda looks like the creeper is blooming. Anyway I have saved seeds from it in the past trying to get more of them started, but had no luck. Well a cpuple mos ago I came across 7 seeds. I decided to give it another try. Hurray! Jackpot, got em all going. I will be planting them along that fence this spring. I also started some wistetia seed. I love wisteria. I have read about how invasive it can be, but where I live the only thing invasive are the weeds Confused

I love baby pictures! Your babies look great but your soil looks a bit too wet.

I've discovered that soaking sweet pea seeds in water (change it daily) until you see the 'tails' aka tap root emerge is the best way to germinate them. One they appear plant.

Also it takes years for Wisteria to bloom from seed in case you didn't know.

I used the wet paper towel in baggie method for both the sweet peas & the wisteria. And yes I know about it taking years for wisteria to bloom but I just like growing different seeds, ya know. Plus, no one has been willing to trade me a wistetia. Either for a plant or postage Thank You! I tip my hat to you.
